Kids ministry

We’re Excited to Partner with Parents to Teach Kids How to Know, Grow, and Show God’s Love! At CG Kids, We Value:

Learning:

As a church, our purpose is to expand God's kingdom. Investing in the next generation is an amazing opportunity to do just that. Our goal each week is for children to experience worship and learn from the Bible so that they will know, grow, and show God's love.

Fun:

We want your kids to love church. Our worship and learning happen in the context of energetic music, interactive games, age-appropriate lessons, and friendly environments. Our team is excited to share the love of Jesus, and they bring excitement to your child's experience.

Safety:

Your child's safety is incredibly important to us. We have amazing volunteers who have passed background checks and have been trained to keep safety and cleanliness in mind as they teach and worship with your child. We also have a check-in/out system to be sure our volunteers know your child's name, are able to identify you at pick-up, and are able to contact you during the service if needed.

Checking In

We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes early in order check-in your child and make it to service on time. When you arrive, one of our friendly team members will help with check-in. You and your child will receive personalized, coordinating ID tags unique to your family and your visit, which you will show after the service in order to pick up your child. If you lose your ID tag, you will be required to show your Driver’s License in its place.

During Service

If for any reason we need to contact you during the service, we will text the number you provided at check-in. If you receive a text message, please exit the main service, return to the CG Kids area, and a team member will meet you with your child at the check-in counter.

CG Kid’s Environments

We currently have 4 classroom environments in CG Kids.

Infants

We offer a 0-12 month room that is staffed with 2 qualified adult volunteers. This room is equipped with age appropriate toys and a diaper changing station. There is also a nursing room in the hallway next to the kitchen for moms to sit with their baby if they need to step out of the service. The nursing room is equipped with rocking chairs, a changing table, and a TV live-streaming the service.

Ones and Twos

The one and two-year-olds will play, sing songs, and learn a short, age-appropriate lesson. Please be sure to label all items you send with your child.

Threes - Kindergarten

Three’s-Kindergartners will have fun as they learn how they can live out God’s Word through an interactive, developmentally appropriate lesson. Children in this class have fun making crafts, playing games, and singing songs all while applying the truths they are learning from the Bible.

First - Fifth Grade

Our elementary children will enjoy an opportunity to worship and learn in both large group and small group settings(1st-2nd Grade and 3rd-5th Grade). This group enjoys the chance to Know, Grow, and Show God's love through a Bible-Based curriculum that engages kids through fun themed series.
